2008

In 2008 Milton Keynes Pressings were very pleased to receive the Silver Award at the RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel in Birmingham. David Rawlings, RoSPA Awards Manager said “Milton Keynes Pressings Ltd has shown a commitment to protecting the health and well being of its employees and others. We hope other businesses and organisations will follow its lead and strive for continuous improvement in health and safety management”. Later in the year the Company was pleased to achieve registration to BS OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.

2007

The Company again won one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards. David Rawlings, RoSPA Awards Manager said “Milton Keynes Pressings have demonstrated how seriously they take health and safety management and are a fine example to many other companies. We would like to see more organisations following their lead by providing a positive example”.

The Company again won one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards.

2006

In 2006, MKP was named COMPANY of the YEAR by the Confederation of British Metalforming. This prestigious national award was presented at a special ceremony at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club during the annual Metals Industry Dinner. The award was presented on behalf of the CBM by Karren Brady, Managing Director of Birmingham City Football Club, and John Houseman, Director General of the CBM.

2005

The Company was awarded one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards for 2005. The MERIT Award was presented at a special ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, National Exhibition Centre during Safety & Health Expo 2005, the UK’s premier health and safety at work exhibition. The RoSPA Awards are not just about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; they are also about ensuring that organisations have good health and safety management systems in place. They help to reinforce the message that good health and safety is good business and clearly demonstrate an organisation’s commitment to the achievement of high levels of performance in this crucial area

2004

In June 2004 the Company was presented with two awards, the ‘Business Excellence Award’ and ‘Manufacturer of the Year Award’ by Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of commerce. The Awards were presented at the Annual Chamber Dinner at Whittlebury Hall by Sean Hickey, Chief Executive of the Chamber, and Terry Waite CBE, who was the guest speaker for the evening.

2001

Milton Keynes Pressings Ltd received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade 2001. The Company was one of only two companies to have received the award that year within Buckinghamshire and the entire workforce were extremely proud of the achievements being recognised.

Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce - awarded the International Award for Consistent Performance.

2000

Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce - awarded the Overall Winner - Excellence in Export Award.
